EPL: Arsenal beat West Brom 2-0, brace from Alexandre Lacazette.




Arsenal claimed a convincing 2-0 win over West Brom at the Emirates thanks to a brace from Alexandre Lacazette.

But the game could have panned out differently had the Baggies been awarded a first-half penalty.

The traveling side also hit the post and had a great chance cleared off the line by Nacho Monreal.

Martin Keown said "Referee helped Arsenal beat West Brom, they’re some way behind top clubs"

That’s according to Gunners great Martin Keown, who believes Arsenal are showing encouraging signs but still have a long way to go.

He said: “You have to say [it was] a professional performance from Arsenal - the referee played a major part and I'm sure Tony Pulis will have something to say about that.

“Arsenal picked up three vital points but they are some way behind the top two in the Premier League at the moment. “There are little partnerships building in the team.
